Taft McKinstry Attends The Commerce Lexington Leadership Site Visit
Have you ever wanted to attend a Commerce Lexington Leadership Visit?
It is one of the best business leadership programs available through Commerce Lexington. Two Fowler Bell PLLC attorneys attended the 2014 trip. Taft McKinstry joined approximately 300 business leaders from Lexington Inc. and Greater Louisville for this Leadership Expedition.
The 2014 Leadership Expeditions was in Charlotte, North Carolina, at the very beginning of June.
While a three-day trip might seem short, this trip never skimps on packing tremendous value as a three-day learning experience. Charlotte leaders shared about their successes, challenges and opportunities, allowing our leaders to learn from their experiences as a city similar in size and challenges relative to Lexington.
Kentucky leaders developed a theme motto: "Fuel. Synergize. Mobilize." to help remind them to innovate, collaborate and leverage Kentucky's best opportunities for the future. There was never a shortage of great speakers, good food, time spent together and a little fun mixed in touring the city while museum time, pedal tours and other activities relieved the attendees with a little creative learning time.
